What We Repair

Whatever's Wrong Up There, We've Seen It Before

From a single leak to full storm damage, we handle residential roof repairs on every roof type — shingle, tile, metal, and flat.

Leak Repair

The most common call we get. We find the actual source of the leak — not just the spot where it shows up inside — and fix it for good.

Storm & Wind Damage

After Central Florida storms, we inspect for wind, hail, and debris damage, document everything, and can help with your insurance claim.

Missing / Damaged Shingles

Cracked, curled, or blown-off shingles let water in fast. We match and replace damaged sections before they become bigger problems.

Flashing & Seal Repair

Failed flashing around vents, chimneys, and skylights is a leading cause of leaks. We reseal and reinforce the vulnerable points.

Emergency Tarping

Active leak or storm damage that can't wait? We provide emergency tarping to protect your home until a permanent repair can be made.

Flat Roof Repair

Ponding, blistering, or leaks on a low-slope roof? We repair TPO, modified bitumen, and built-up systems and fix the drainage behind them.

Straight Answers

We'll Tell You the Truth — Even When It's "You Don't Need Much".

Plenty of roofing companies use a repair call as a way to sell you a whole new roof. That's not how we work. Most of the time, a repair is a repair — and we'll fix it and move on.

But we'll also be straight with you the other way. If your roof is genuinely at the end of its life and a repair would just be throwing money at a problem that's coming back, we'll tell you that too — and show you exactly why, with photos and a clear explanation.

Either way, you get an honest assessment from a licensed local team that documents what they find and walks you through it. No pressure, no scare tactics, no surprise charges.

"Team were very fast getting my roof repair completed after my insurance inspection."

Meet the Family

You're Calling a Local Family — Not a Call Center

RBS is owned and operated by the Scott family, right here in Central Florida. When you call, you're reaching a real local team that has built its reputation one roof at a time over the past 20+ years.

That's why the honest approach matters to us. We live and work in this community. Our name is on every job, and most of our work comes from referrals and repeat customers who trust us to tell them the truth.

After a storm, Central Florida fills up with out-of-town "storm chasers" who knock on doors, take deposits, and disappear. We're the opposite of that — established, licensed, and here long after the work is done.

— Ron & Gina Scott and the RBS family

The RBS Crew

A Real Local Team, Not a Subcontractor Network

When RBS shows up to repair your roof, it's our own trained crew,  not whoever a national franchise could find that day. Licensed, insured, and accountable to the family name on the truck.

01

Local & Family-Owned

Owned and operated by the Scott family right here in Central Florida. Our name is on every job we do.

02

Shingle, tile, metal, flat — our crew is experienced across all of them and the specific ways each one fails in Florida.

04

Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind our repairs. If something isn't right, we come back and make it right.

Don't Wait

Signs You Should Call Sooner Rather Than Later

In Florida's climate, a small roof problem becomes a big one fast. If you're seeing any of these, it's worth a call.

Water Stains on Ceilings or Walls

Discoloration usually means water is already getting in. The longer it sits, the more damage to insulation and structure.

Missing or Damaged Shingles

Especially after a storm. Even one missing shingle is an open door for water.

Granules in the Gutters

Shingle granules washing into your gutters signal the roof surface is wearing out.

Daylight in the Attic

If you can see light through the roof boards, water and pests can get in too.

Sudden Higher Energy Bills

An unexplained spike can mean your roof is no longer sealing and insulating properly.

Moss or Algae Growth

Organic growth traps moisture against the roof and accelerates deterioration in our humidity.

"Rob stopped by today (01Jun26) to provide us with our free estimate for a new/repaired roof from RBS. He quickly and easily provided us with all the detailed information we needed. He was obviously very professional and knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to talk with him. Thanks Rob!"

"RBS installed our roof replacement and made the repairs we needed after the last hurricane.  In this day and age, it is so difficult to find a business that truly cares about its customers, works with them on repairs and completes the construction work. The work is skillfully completed in accordance with the agreement. It is great when you find a company you can trust to take pride in its work and truly care about its customers."

“Great quality roof installation. Quick response to last minute unexpected repairs needed. Great stucco work as well.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Roof Repair FAQs

Quick answers to what Central Florida homeowners ask us most.

+

Can you fix a leak without replacing the whole roof?

Most of the time, yes. A leak can often be repaired by sealing the source, replacing damaged shingles, or fixing failed flashing — without a full replacement. We inspect thoroughly to find the real source (which is often not directly above where the leak shows up inside), and we'll only recommend a replacement if the roof is genuinely past the point where repairs make sense. We'll show you why, either way.

+

What happens after I call?

We'll talk through what you're seeing, then schedule a time to come inspect the roof and diagnose the problem. For storm or leak situations, we can also advise on steps to protect your home in the meantime. Call us at 407-859-8163 and we'll let you know our availability.

+

Do you help with insurance claims?

Yes. For storm and damage-related repairs, we document everything with detailed photos and inspection reports, and we coordinate directly with your insurance adjuster. We've worked with carriers for years and can guide you through the claims process. Coverage decisions are ultimately up to your insurer, but we make sure they have the documentation they need.

+

Can you repair just one section of my roof?

Yes, partial repairs are common when the damage is limited to one area. We inspect the surrounding sections to make sure the damage hasn't spread and that a partial repair will hold up and meet Florida building codes. If it will, that's what we'll do — no reason to replace what's working.

+

What should I do right after a storm?

From the ground, look for missing shingles, debris, or visible damage, and check inside for new water stains or leaks. Don't climb up yourself — it's not safe, especially on a wet or damaged roof. Call us for a professional inspection. We'll safely assess the damage, document it for any insurance claim, and tarp anything that needs immediate protection.

+

Do you charge for an estimate?

No — estimates are free and there's no obligation. We'll inspect, tell you honestly what we find, and give you a clear estimate. What you do from there is up to you.
